How to Earn Your Beaver Pelts

This year we have fabric pelts that you can keep!  You can see the white, green, and black pelts in the picture above
These were sourced and hand-cut from reclaimed fabric by Heather Squires Thomas

You start with:

No-Pelt.

You must be a No-Pelt to go for…

White-Pelt:

A circle of at least 4 people of any rank getting a hack* with at least 10 kicks

You must be a White-Pelt to go for…

Green-Pelt:

A circle of at least 5 people of any rank getting a hack* of at least 20 kicks

You must be a Green-Pelt to go for…

Black-Pelt:

A circle of at least 6 people of any rank getting a hack* of at least 30 kicks

You must be a Black-Pelt to go for the legendary

GOLD PELT:

1.       A Black-Pelt must put together a circle of at least FIVE people consisting of ANY mix of No-Pelt, White-Pelt or Green-Pelt

2.       No other Black or Gold-Pelts may participate in this solemn and silly rite!

3.       The Black-Pelt must inform the circle of his/her intention to go for the Gold.

4.       There must be a hack* where ALL of the other people in the circle advance to their next rank.

Notes:

The Gold Pelt is wearable on your necklace!

Pelts are earned progressively. (i.e. you can’t jump from a White-Pelt to a Black-Pelt.)

Keep your hard earned pelts – no need to turn them in at all!

*A hack is a kicking rally where everyone in the circle kicks it at least once before the footbag hits the ground.
